Product Overview

Around the Block (2013) is an Australian feature film written and directed by Sarah Spillane. Set in the inner-city Sydney suburb of Redfern, Around the Block tells the story of sixteen-year-old Aboriginal Australian Liam Wood, who is torn between his passion for acting and following his father and brother into a life of crime. Meanwhile, his Year 11 English teacher, American Dino Chalmers, must practice what she teaches in order to find her freedom.
