Product Overview

Anangu Way follows Keenan, a 34-year-old father of three, as he embarks on a journey to reconnect with his father, Lydon, and his cultural heritage. The last time the two men were together on Country, Keenan was just eight years old. Since then, their relationship has been shaped by both physical and emotional distance, with Keenan growing up in the city while Lydon remained in the bush.

Seeking to reconnect, Kennan travels from Perth to Lydon’s remote community. Here, he learns how to make a woomera – a traditional Anangu tool. Through the process of gathering materials and crafting the woomera, Keenan learns not only his father’s culture, but also stories of Country and ancestral knowledge.

Through his journey, Keenan gains a deeper understanding of both his father’s life and the Anangu way of living. Anangu Way is an intimate story of reconciliation, cultural rediscovery, and the unspoken bonds that connect father and son.
