Product Overview

Convenient Education (2012) is an online interactive documentary about the international education crisis of 2009 and 2010, told from the point of view of the students, the education sector and government officials. Beginning in 2008, Convenient Education exposes how the Australian Government's immigration-education solution, designed to boost the Australian economy, went terribly wrong.

An interactive version of Convenient Education was available on SBS' website. Viewers could contribute comments as they watch. The documentary's extras menu included videos, photographs and text that provide context and analysis at specific points in the documentary. These extras were unlocked when they became relevant. Convenient Education was available to viewers both in Australia and overseas.
