VCE Media Units 1 & 2 — Year 11 Head Start Program

Designed to introduce students to the key concepts and creative possibilities of VCE Media, this engaging four-lesson Head Start Program combines practical activities, media analysis, discussion and hands-on production tasks.

Students explore the diverse world of media forms and products before being introduced to one of the fundamental concepts of VCE Media: Representation. Through accessible examples and creative challenges, students investigate how media creators construct representations, make deliberate choices through selection and omission, and communicate meaning to different audiences.
