Poorly marketed on commercial television and seen by few in Australia on its first broadcast, 2012 BBC/HBO-funded miniseries Parade's End is perhaps destined to be as unfairly overlooked as the epic literary work it is based on. Determined that this not be the case, Peter Craven convincingly argues that both should be celebrated as masterpieces of their respective mediums.
