A Film Analysis and Appreciation course devised for Year 10 Media Studies, with sample work requirements, lesson plans and assignments. 'In an effort to solve all these problems and 'prime the powder' for potential VCE students, this Film Analysis and Appreciation course was devised. This fulfilled a requirement of analysis and criticism of artistic product in yet another revision of middle-school curriculum, in this case CSF 1. As an added 'sell' the unit also provides Media students with a solid grounding on codes and practices leading to Unit 1 Media and is a considerable advantage in VCE English in that subject's study of a non-print text.'
