Big Screen, High Hopes: Bringing Australian Film to School Kids

Castaldi discusses the emergence, character and purpose of Big Screen project: 'Big Screen started its life as a Centenary of Federation project in 2001. It was meant to be a one-off regional touring film festival promoting Australian cinema, but was so successful that it has continued and to date we have presented over seventy festivals around remote, rural regional Australia with a total attendance of over 105,000 people.'
