Ice Wars (2016) is a four-part series exploring the fallout and community response to one of the most popular and dangerous drugs of our time: crystal methamphetamine, also known as ice. The makers of this program had unprecedented access to NSW Police frontline operations in metropolitan as well as rural and remote communities. The programs reveal the scale and scope of the challenges facing law enforcement, health workers, users, families and the community as they grapple to mitigate the effects of ice use in Australia.

Ice Wars is suitable for Year 10–12 students of English, Health, Legal Studies and Media Studies, and is also relevant to the teaching of the General Capabilities of Personal and Social Capability, and Ethical Understanding, in the Australian Curriculum.
