La Spagnola

La Spagnola is a darkly comical story of lust, love and revenge set against the desolation and dust of country Australia in the 1960s. Lola (Lola Marceli) the Spanish woman is introduced throwing her body in the path of her husband's car as he tries to flee the family. A volatile beauty if ever there was one, we watch as Lola becomes consumed with bitterness and hatred for everyone and everything in her sight, including her daughter, Lucia (Alice Ansara).
