On first glance, Anna Broinowski's latest documentary may seem to be taking the piss out of North Korea's ostensible backwardness and its Dear Leader's cinematic sensibilities. In reality, however, it reveals the humanity shared by Korean and Aussie, and the power of film to transform our thoughts and feelings, writes Anthony Carew.
