Politics, Power and Persuasion: Documenting a Drama for Students - The 1998 Waterfront Dispute

Change has become the catchcry of the new millennium, no less in education as in other industries. The necessity for change in an information-rich educational climate is evident when it is acknowledged that 'knowledge doubles every seven years and 10,000 scientific articles are published every day'. This article argues that collaboration between producers of documentary film and teachers can provide more flexible learning environments and improved educational experiences for students.
