Marvel stories are big business. These modern myths are so ubiquitous across cinema, television, comic books, videogames and toys that every student would be familiar with at least part of the Marvel universe. Beyond entertaining us with tales of superheroes, however, the construction of this universe can teach us much about what media convergence and transmedia storytelling look like in 2017, writes Tyson Wils.
