Free Trade: Spotlight on the Children's Television Production Industry

This article examines possible impacts of a free trade agreement on the Australian children's television production industry, looks at a range of related issues such as quotas, subsidies, size of makets, the child as a 'consumer', and discusses the need for diversity in programming and local content to ensure Austalian children's development of critical skills and exposure to Australia's 'great, big, important culture'.
