Dissent with Fries: Fast Food Nation

Dave Hoskin looks at anti-corporate film Fast Food Nation (Richard Linklater, 2006). The film is a fictionalised version of the book of the same name, with McDonald's substituted for a hamburger chain called 'Mickey's'. As Hoskin asserts, this fictionalised version of reality isn't necessarily effective, with the issues raised not examined with any intellectual rigour.
