A Unique Australian Film Culture: Developing an Indigenous Screen Identity

Murriimage began operating in south-east Queensland in 1985. Over the past ten years (at the time of writing in 1996), this Indigenous video and film production organisation has contributed to screen culture development through a broad range of activities.
