Robert Connolly and Robin Anderson's Rats in the Ranks (1996) caused a sensation upon its release. Their latest documentary, Facing the Music (2001), follows Professor Anne Boyd, head of the Music Department at the University of Sydney, as she struggles to keep her department afloat amidst government cuts and internal struggles.
