Top of the Lake sees Jane Campion return to her New Zealand roots to create a miniseries that, by blurring the lines between cinema and television, writes a new chapter in the ever-evolving story of the small screen. Jo Dillon spoke to co-director Garth Davis about the process of working with Campion to make a piece that pushes as many boundaries in its format as in its content.
