Yogawoman is a feature-length documentary exploring the popularity of yoga amongst women in Western countries despite the activity's traditional male dominance in Eastern countries. The aim of the documentary is to uncover the benefits that this ancient tradition of yoga can bring to modern women across the world.

The documentary is divided into chapters that outline yoga's potential benefits for women throughout all the different cycles of their lives. The film focuses on women in many different situations using yoga as a means to health, wellbeing and self empowerment.

Curriculum Applicability:
Yogawoman has close links to the Years 9–10 curriculum for Health and Physical Education (Personal, Social and Community Health). Yogawoman may also assist in intermediate and senior English to compliment texts pertaining to themes of community, emotional health, and personal and social change, and be of interest to teachers and students of Drama, particularly Years 9–10.
