The second season of Our Law illustrates the full width and breadth, challenges, triumphs and pitfalls of being a modern First Nations police officer in Australia today, as well as shining a timely spotlight on many of the wider complexities facing First Nations-police relations.
Narrated by Deborah Mailman, this series takes place at a historic moment for Australia’s state police jurisdictions as they each try to reconcile with First Nations communities, many of which are still reeling from past wrongful police actions and Australia’s long history of institutionalised and systemic racism.
