High Ground (2020) is an Australian feature film directed by Stephen Maxwell Johnson and created by Johnson and Witiyana Marika. It follows the intersecting stories of two protagonists: World War I veteran Travis and Gutjuk, a young Aboriginal man, who was orphaned as a boy when his family was massacred by white settlers. In a bid to save the last of his family, Gutjuk teams up with Travis to track down his uncle, Baywara, the most dangerous warrior in the Northern Territory.
