Last Emperor, The

The life of the last Emperor of China, Puyi, has fascinated filmmakers and historians alike. Set against a backdrop of one of the most tumultuous periods of Chinese history, Puyi was both a participant in and a victim of his times. This documentary reveals Puyi's unorthodox life through the use of rare footage from the period.
