The following material is taken straight from what's happening in a Grade 5 classroom at Bourchier Street Primary School in Shepparton. As far as teaching media, the teacher has an interest in radio, and there are limited resources – one video camera for a school with 600 students; a shared television among many classes and little else. Teaching media does not need sophisticated equipment nor a diploma in the latest technology. It does require enthusiasm, 'creative scrounging' and a few stolen ideas. Any teacher can do it!
