The Glossary of Filmmaking

This glossary is designed to assist in better understanding the various facets of the filmmaking process. Filmmaking is often described as a collaborative business and there are many different roles related to film production – i.e. writing, directing, editing, producing, composing and distributing – that share complex relationships with each other.
