It's Not All Black and White: Newsfront

A Film as Text on Newsfront (Phillip Noyce, 1978). The film follows the life and career of a newsreel photographer, whose personal story is a means by which the film can explore a range of themes including the constructed nature of the news, Australian cultural identity, the impact of social change and gender/family expectations of the mid twentieth century.
