Levin's article provides an excellent background to teaching Alex Gibney's documentary film in senior English and Media classes. The documentary film about the corporate scandal and its main protagonists reveals the corruption within the corporate ranks as early as in 1987, however, as Levin notes, the film isn't just about the villains, but also about the bravery of those Enron employees who agreed to be interviewed and come forward. Enron's corporate slogan was 'Ask Why?' Levin joins the filmmakers in answering the question/s about the company described as 'a house of cards' built over a 'pool of gasoline'.
