On Board with the Counterculture: Spirit of Akasha

Australia has a vibrant surfing and surf-movie culture, and Spirit of Akasha – a homage to the classic Morning of the Earth – attempts to follow in this tradition. To Bruce Andrews, however, this filmic and musical tribute falls short of doing its predecessors justice, notwithstanding the assortment of big names involved in the production.
