NFSA's Kodak/Atlab Cinema Collection: Palm Beach

Albie Thoms' Palm Beach was something of a generic oddity, a feature film of real technical accomplishment that seemed to take an avant-garde interest in the very nature of narrative, all the while pursuing its own mystery-thriller plotline. Jake Wilson examines the way the film's various strands interrelate and, in the process, has focused attention on an Australian work long overdue for critical resuscitation.
