Laying a Weak Tackle: Blinder

Camaraderie, community and scandal within a small-town football club, all of which are tackled in Blinder, should make for rich cinematic subjects. But for Martin McKenzie-Murray, this film's simplistic and ignorant approach to sexual politics means that it largely misses the mark.
