Following self-styled vigilante German Cabrera as he films footage of crime scenes in Guatemala City, Alex Roberts and Daniel Leclair's documentary offers insights into the simultaneous moralism and moral greyness that underpin their subject's character, as his work gradually – and disturbingly – begins to shift into the realm of exploitation. But in sharing Cabrera's camera's gaze and trading in its sensationalism, the film is also not immune from such ethical quandaries, writes Anthony Carew.
