China is Near: The 2011 Hong Kong International Film Festival

The strong presence of mainland China at the 2011 Hong Kong International Film Festival not only highlighted the recent decline in the local Hong Kong industry, it also showcased an important new direction for this national cinema: digital documentary filmmaking.
