Big Things, Small Packages: MIFF Shorts 2011

Carly Millar reviews four promising shorts from the 2011 Melbourne International Film Festival Accelerator program. The films – At the Formal, The Stranger, Attach Boat to Motor and Go the Dogs – share strikingly similar elements: each is a fresh and distinctive mood piece from an emerging filmmaker, evocative of a particular time and place, and with little or no dialogue.
