He has defied medical science by walking, let alone running. No one with his level of disability has been able to complete a marathon. Daryl ran his first marathon when he was twenty-six years old. He finished 189th out of 203. The result made him a world champion.

Frank is from the Scottish village of Ayr. He now lives in Australia. Frank's education has enabled him to travel the world. A trip to Cambodia proved life changing. In November 2004, Frank rode 20,000 kilometres on a motorbike from Melbourne, Australia to Cambodia. He wanted to raise awareness of the needs of the Cambodian people and demonstrate a personal commitment to making a difference. He is building a school. Frank believes that education will change the lives of Cambodian children and their families.
