From an overwhelmingly Christian nation to a multi-faith society where non-believers now form the largest single contingent, Believing in Australia is a four-part series that explores how religion how religion has influenced our history, culture, and relationships from 1945 to the present day.

Believing in Australia is relevant to students in Year 6 and upwards in the learning areas of:
• HASS
• Modern History
• Religious Education
• English
• The Arts (Media Studies)
It would also contribute to the general capabilities of Literacy and Intercultural understanding, as well as the cross-curriculum priorities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures , as well as Asia and Australia’s Engagement with Asia.
