Anastasia is an animated feature film based upon a true story about the last Tsar and Tsarina of Russia and the legend of the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nicholaevna. There are scenes depicting aspects of Imperial Russia and the Russian revolution along with Paris in the 1920s. This twentieth-century fairy tale combines action, comedy, romance and music to tell the story of the fabled lost Russian princess, the last surviving member of the Romanov family.
