Stop Motion: Make a Lego Character Walk Using Brickflicks is an online course designed to teach you how to make a Lego character come to life using stop motion animation.
A professional tutor will guide you step-by-step with the process of making a Lego character walk across a screen. The walk cycle is one of the first things any animator learns.
Requirements:
This online course requires the following materials
- Desk or flat surface
- Lego base plate
- Blue tack
- Tablet or phone
- Stop motion studio app
- Lego mini figure
- Lego bricks to make a stand
Alternatively, if you don't have some of these, you can:
- Roll out some plasticine instead of using a base plate
- Put some blu-tack on the bottom of the mini-figures feet for them to stand up
- Use books to keep the iPad steady
Suitable: For teachers, their students and anyone interested to learn stop motion animation. Whether you've done stop motion before, or you're brand new to it, this course is designed to help you build and improve your skills.
