This up close and personal series gives an exclusive insight into modern Indigenous family life through the eyes of nine sisters and their mother.

Angela, Shenika, Helen, Kelly, Kiara, Sharna, Aleisha, Jessica and Hannah navigate their way though adolescence and adulthood as their mother, Daniella, tries to teach them life lessons. With their own unique senses of humour and style, the girls learn to juggle their own aspirations with the reality of everyday life.

Episode 1

Finding the perfect dress for 17-year-old Aleisha's school formal and getting her glammed up presents challenges for the whole Rule family.

Episode 2

Experimenting with her 'good girl' image, 14-year-old Jessica tests her mum's approach to parenting.

Episode 3

Social media goes on hold when the younger Rule girls head outback with their grandmother to experience their culture, country and elders.

Episode 4

For 19-year-old Sharna, moving out of home means her sisters won't touch her stuff – or at least that's the plan.

Episode 5

Jessica considers going into modelling and gets guidance from her big sister Shenika about a career in high heels.

Episode 6

All the Rule girls travel into the heart of Western Australia with their mum and extended family for a special ceremony in their father's Nagdju country.
