After a couple of short films, director Stephen Wallace made 1977's The Love Letters from Teralba Road – and Constantine Verevis' study of this film gives it well-deserved attention. He recounts its fascinating prehistory and, by drawing with such precision on its key moments, he evokes vividly the sense of this sensitively conceived and executed piece from the days of the Australian revival.
