Making Waves: The 23rd Melbourne Queer Film Festival

Despite a censorship scandal that quashed one of the program's most challenging works, MQFF this year managed to present plenty of diverse, often brilliant stories. Chloe Benson reports on the festival's offerings and considers what they tell us about local and global queer cinema.
