From Little Things Big Things Grow: A Revival of the Film Musical

I think the world is currently in the midst of a film musical revival. I am not entirely sure how many films it takes to constitute a revival, and I suppose this is a hefty call, given that the only recent film musical that springs immediately to mind is Moulin Rouge! (Baz Luhrmann, 2001). But it doesn't really stop there; I think Moulin Rouge! is a small part of something bigger.
