This science fiction feature length telemovie is the exciting sequel to The Girl From Tomorrow. Alana returns to her home 3000 years in the future to find the planet devastated. An excellent science fiction genre film for narrative studies for ages 8–14.
When Alana's friend Jenny is injured in a battle with the evil Silverthorn, Alana takes her to the future to be healed. There they find that the time travel experiments being conducted by Alana's people are changing history. Alana takes Jenny home to her own time but when she returns to the thirty-first century, she finds time changed and the planet completely devastated. The film combines fantasy, action and drama and has broad appeal to both boys and girls.
The film is an excellent resource for Media Studies, English, Science, Technology, and Social Education. The educational resources focus on the topics of utopias, world issues, ethics, values, justice and the sci-fi genre.
