Shipping and returns

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose.

Please also note that the shipping rates for most items we sell are weight-based. All product weights are rounded up to the nearest 50g and, to reflect the policies of Australia Post, the total weight of your order will be rounded up to the nearest 500g (for shipping within Australia) or 250g (for international shipping).

Returns policy

Please choose carefully. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind.

If you receive an incorrect or defective item, you may return it to us (new and unopened in the case of being incorrect) within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. In the case of a downloadable item, all copies must be deleted from your computer(s) and device(s).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the 'My Account' menu and click the 'Return Item(s)' button.

Where a refund is to be issued, credit card payments will be refunded onto the same card that was used to make your purchase. If you paid with a cheque, money order or via electronic funds transfer (EFT), we will issue you a refund via EFT or cheque. If all or part of your purchase was paid via a gift certificate, that part of your refund will be credited to your account – available to use the next time you place an order.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of the return, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the shipping time once you mail your return to us (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return and refund once we receive it (1 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund or for your cheque to arrive (2 to 5 business days). This timeframe applies to returns from within Australia. Returns sent from overseas will take longer.

We'll notify you via email of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item(s).

We may require you to provide proof of purchase. For example, a copy of your tax invoice or specific details that enable us to be sure the transaction is genuine. We can only process returns and refunds for items purchased from The Education Shop.
