Sons & Mothers

The highlight of the 2012 Adelaide Fringe Festival was Sons & Mothers, a new play created and performed by the Men's Ensemble of No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability.

For over two years, award-winning director Christopher Houghton captured the development of this powerful show from the seed of an idea to a fully realised play. The result is an inspiring and intimate portrait that realigns our perceptions of ability whilst paying homage to art, cinema and the transcendent power of theatre.

Heartwarming, funny and refreshingly honest, Sons & Mothers invites audiences to leave their view of disability at the door. Instead, through the sheer delight of the Men's Ensemble, experience what it's like to be simply human.
