Technological Change in the Postproduction Film Industry: A Victorian Case Study

Murray points out that '[T]he first and last stages of filmmaking – production and projection – remain relatively unchanged, but computerization has radically transformed film and sound editing.' The aim of this article presenting the experiences of twenty Victorian post-production workers interviewed in 2001 is to examine some of the effects of this transformation on postproduction employment.
