Restaging History: Crossroads of Youth and Korean Cinema's Byeonsa

At a 2014 Brisbane screening of Korea's oldest extant film, Crossroads of Youth, David Crewe witnessed more of a 'remix' – complete with narrator taking poetic licence – than something that reeks of historical authenticity.
